Steph is a holistic physiotherapist who has worked across regional communities, private practice, and public hospitals to provide integrated care since 2011. She is passionate about facilitating healing and promoting wellness in an individualised manner; acknowledging that we are all complex beings worthy to thrive in body, mind, and spirit. A firm believer in a multifaceted evidence-based approach to treatment, Steph utilises manual therapy, movement-based exercise, and education to help clients achieve sustained recovery and relief from pain.
After graduating from the University of Queensland with First Class Honours and Dean’s Commendations for Academic Excellence, Steph completed further training in clinical pilates, neuromuscular dry needling, women’s health and chronic pain. She has worked with clients presenting with complex musculoskeletal pain, sporting injuries, neurological conditions, and post-operative surgeries requiring rehabilitation.
Steph has lived experience with the complex nature of pain and how it can affect everyday activity and life. She is currently interested and excited to explore the role that physiotherapy can play within mental health.
Steph enjoys a good coffee chat, yoga and any nature-based activities including hiking and ocean swims.
